eChargeBays is a start-up in the Electric Vehicle field, HQ in New Delhi, India

Requirement

eChargeBays works closely with EV manufacturers like Audi, Mercedes, BMW and EV Charger installtion service providers. Before the EV Charger is installed at EV owner’s residence, a survey has to happen which involves finding answer to questions like - personal / shared space, parking space available, electric meter configuration etc. Images and videos of that area are also required to be uploaded by the person conducting the survey. Earlier this survey process was manual - they used to fill physical printed forms, send images & videos on a WhatsApp group. The process was not efficient and manageable at scale. Client required a custom tailored digital solution for this.

Deliverable

We developed an app where form can be filled within the app. Images and videos can also be attached very easily. Because each manufacturer & service provider has a different form, the form that survey conductor sees is fully dynamic and can be customised anytime using the Admin panel.

Major challenges included

• Media compression - compressing images & videos selected by the user
• Dynamic form UI, input validations
• Sync form responses with the server
